Susan Shaw
Piano and Voice
Susan Shaw is a Piano and Voice teacher in the Buffalo, NY area. Susan has her Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Education and Piano Performance and a Master's degree in Piano Performance from the State University of New York at Fredonia. She has completed additional graduate work at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, studying vocal and piano pedagogy. Susan taught vocal/ general music education in both the public and private school setting for 17 years, from elementary through high school, and taught early childhood music for 12 years. She has been active as an accompanist throughout the Western New York area, playing recitals, for churches, musical theatre and competitions. Susan is also actively involved in musical theatre as a musical director for O'Connell and Company.

Michael Shaw has been teaching woodwind lessons for over 35 years. As a teacher in the Frontier Central School District, he taught saxophone, clarinet and flute lessons to all levels of students, from beginners through advanced. His Woodwind Ensemble consistently earned highest honors at the NYSSMA major organization festivals. His students have gone on to major in music at leading colleges and universities, and many continue as professional musicians. Michael has his Bachelors degree in Music Education from the State University of New York at Fredonia, and his Master of Music in Woodwind Performance from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also holds an additional 30 plus credits in Conducting. Michael has been active as the conductor of the American Legion Band of the Tonawandas, which earned 7 National Championships under his direction; has conducted numerous All County and Area All State Bands, and serves as the special conductor for the Tabernacle in Orchard Park.
